Basketball Victoria Country Awards – nominations open!

BASKETBALL Victoria Country encourages all country associations and individuals to submit nominations for the Basketball Victoria Country Awards.

Each year the Awards recognise the valuable work of Victorian country basketball associations, as well as individuals from within the Victorian basketball community. The BVC Awards Breakfast, which will be held on Saturday 4 April 2020 at Bendigo Stadium.

 The highlight of the Basketball Victoria Country Awards Breakfast is the annual presentation of the Jack Terrill Medal, which recognises a significant and outstanding contribution by an individual to basketball in country Victoria.

“We continue to be amazed by the incredible achievements of players, coaches, referees and everyone involved in basketball throughout country Victoria,” Basketball Victoria Country Manager David Huxtable said. “The Basketball Victoria Country Awards recognise those individuals and organisations that have excelled throughout the last calendar year – whether on the court or through amazing administration, volunteer work or other significant contributions to our sport.

“We encourage everyone throughout Victorian country basketball to get involved and nominate those people at your club, your association or in your team that are truly exceptional.”
