1st Traralgon T-Birds vs 4th Maffra Eagles
Traralgon are through to their 4th straight conference final with a 76 to 58 win over the Maffra Eagles. Jade Melbourne contributed a game high 25 points while Jazmin Allman was leading scorer for Maffra with 16.
2nd Korumburra Wildcats vs 3rd Moe Meteors
Moe are through to the conference final with a 46 to 38 win over the Korumburra Wildcats. Moe’s Ellie Coutts and Korumburra’s Chloe Hogg each scored a game high 13 points in a low scoring match.
1st Warragul Warriors vs 4th Churchill Blue Devils
Warragul are through to the conference final and Churchill will not have the opportunity for 5 straight championships. The Warriors held a 17 point lead at half time and won 86 to 74 at full time. Mike Santo scored a game high 28 points for Warragul and Churchill Jordan Canovan contributed 27 in the loss.
2nd Moe Meteors vs 3rd Maffra Eagles
Moe are through to the conference final with a 78 to 61 win over the Maffra Eagles. Harry Pepper led all scorers with 28 points for Moe while Sam Whelan contributed 17 points for Maffra.
1st Wodonga Lady Wolves vs 4th Wallan Panthers
The Wallan Panthers have caused an upset with a 53 to 47 win over the ladder leading Lady Wolves in Wodonga. Wallan’s Jayda Hunter scored 15 points to lead the Panthers while Wodonga’s Breanna Green scored a game high 16 points in defeat.
2nd Shepparton Lady Gators vs 3rd Wangaratta Lady Warriors
Wangaratta are through to the conference final with a 15 point win over the Shepparton Lady Gators. Rachel Jeffery led all scorers with 20 points for Wangaratta with 3 other players in double figures and Brianna Moon had 12 points to lead the Gators.
1st Seymour Blasters vs 4th Wallan Panthers
Seymour are through to their 4th straight conference final and hoping to capture their 3rd straight North East title as they defeated Wallan 90 to 57. Liam Killey led a balanced Seymour team with 19 points and Jaak Ponsford scored a game high 24 points for the Panthers.
2nd Shepparton Gators vs 3rd Wodonga Wolves
Wodonga caused an upset with a 74 to 71 win over the Gators in Shepparton.
Shepparton’s Gabe Evans led all scorers with 30 points and Benjamin Coates was Wodonga’s leading scorer with 23.
1st Horsham Lady Hornets vs 4th Kyneton Tigers
Horsham are through to the conference final, holding out the Kyneton Tigers for a 57 to 47 win on their home court. Emalie Iredell and Caitlyn Storey combined for 37 points for the Hornets while Michelle Fletcher’s 13 points paced the Tigers.
2nd Bendigo Braves vs 3rd Swan Hill Lady Flyers
Bendigo are through to the conference final after defeating Swan Hill 69 to 52. Caitlyn McLachlan was Bendigo’s leading scorer with 13 points and Swan Hill’s Madeleine Jeans contributed a game high 20 points.
1st Horsham Hornets vs 4th Maryborough Blazers
Horsham are through to the North West conference final with a 66 to 62 win over the Maryborough Blazers. Maryborough were able to fight back from an early deficit to push the Hornets all the way. Horsham’s Tim Pickert led all scorers with 20 points and Dale Hickey supplied 17 points for the Blazers.
2nd Bendigo Braves vs 3rd Mildura Heat
Bendigo will face Horsham in the conference final after dispatching the Mildura Heat 86 to 67 at the Bendigo Stadium. Tanner Rayner scored 28 points for the Braves while Dallas Brown netted 17 points to lead the Heat.
1st Geelong Supercats vs 4th Terang Tornadoes
Geelong are through to the conference final after defeating Terang by a comfortable 80 to 54 margin. Terangs leading scorer was Libby Moloney with 13 points and Geelongs Olivia Virt scored a game high 17 points.
2nd Millicent Magic vs 3rd Portland Coasters
Portland caused an upset with a 2 point win over the Millicent Magic. With the match relocated to Portland the home crowd helped the Coasters take down their higher seeded opponents. Ashleigh Berman and Olivia Fuller combined for 44 points for Millicent. Portland were led by a game high 23 points from Alana Strom and 17 points from Cherie Beckingham.
1st Mt Gambier Lakers vs 4th Millicent Magic
In the South Australian derby Mt Gambier once again came out on top 90 to 79, securing a place in the conference final in the process. Millicent’s Jordan Robertson scored a game high of 31 points while Mt Gambier had 5 players in double figures led by Samuel Stafford’s 21.
2nd Colac Kookas vs 3rd Ararat Redbacks
The Colac Kooas are through to the South West conference final defeating Ararat 89 to 64. The Kookas were led by 22 points from Jacob Pupavac while the Redbacks were paced by 24 points from Zachery Dunmore and 18 points from Josh Fiegert.
