U12 Skills Days and Jamboree – coaches and managers nominations open

BASKETBALL Victoria Country relies on the support and dedication of volunteers to make our events happen.

The BVC U12 Skills Days and BVC Jamboree are no exception. We have a group of dedicated and valued volunteers who attend our events, but we are always looking for more coaches and managers.

If you would like to register to be a coach or manager at the U12 Skills Days or the Jamboree, please click this link to register.

2018 Under 12 Skill Days

The Under-12 Skills Days will be held throughout country Victoria on Saturday 21 July and Sunday 22 July at nine locations – Bendigo, Colac, Korumburra, Hamilton, Ballarat, Mildura, Sale, Wodonga and Dromana.

Skills Days U12-2

Basketball Victoria Country appoints the head coach and administrators for these days, but relies heavily on support coaches to assist at the nine venues. Being a support coach at this event is a great way to improve your coaching skills, network with other coaches, see what is being taught to this age group as well as having a great experience and fun time with the players.

2018 BVC Under-12 Jamboree

The BVC Under-12 Jamboree will be held in Echuca from Saturday 22 September to Tuesday 25 September 2018.

The Jamboree is a fun event for coaches and managers to be involved with and marks the beginning of BVC pathways for athletes and coaches.

Please Note:   There is no cost to coaches or managers at the Under-12 Skills Days or Jamborees.

We are looking for coaches to assist with the Under-12 Skills Days and for coaches and managers for the Jamboree. This year there will be 12 boys teams and 12 girls teams participating in the event.
